On Saturday April 14th, there will be a fun fundraising event at Pure Yoga East (203 E. 86th St. @ 3rd Avenue) benefiting The New York City Celiac Disease Meetup Group & The Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University.
Free Figure 4* class from 1:30-2:30 pm
Izzi B's will be sampling cupcakes from 1- 4 pm Space is limited to the first 24 people to sign up for the class.

What is *Figure 4? Figure 4 is a revolutionary take on a traditional barre class. Tone Arms. Sculpt Thighs. Tighten Glutes. Define Abs. Pure Yoga is proud to further enliven our programming with Figure 4, a barre-based class to complement your yoga practice. Created by professional ballet dancer Kate Albarelli, Figure 4 combines elements of classic dance training, Pilates, yoga, and free weights. This combination is part of a high energy class that works the heart and the limbs in tandem for faster, more effective results, helping to create a long, toned and flexible body. Figure 4 derives its name from the well-known ballet stretch where dancers cross the ankle over the other knee and bend forward, creating a “four” with their legs. The number also denotes the four areas of the body that are sculpted within the hour-long class: abs, arms, glutes and thighs.
