Chcolate dad cupcakes, flowers, sailboats and a beautiful bow
I know Father's Day is over, but chocolate writing as cupcake toppers, in italics especially, is always beautiful, and here are some "Dad" cupcakes I thought were adorable, by Ady Cakes in West Reading, Pennsylvania, via their Facebook page. The latest cupcake high heels
These glam, fun, star-adorned cupcake high heels are by Cupcakes by M.E. in Central Pennsylvania, via their Facebook page, the latest addition to the high heel cupcake craze started by Karen Tack and Alan Richardson in their cookbook Cupcakes, Cookies & Pie, Oh My! That reminds me that I never blogged about the fun class I took with them in which we learned exactly how to make our own; I'll post that this week! I'll never get over how glamorous a cookie heel can be. Find out more about Cupcakes by M.E. at cupcakesbyme.com and contact them at cupcakesbyme at gmail.com or 717-421-8974.

Want a buffalo wing and hot sauce cupcake? Cups n Cakes holds grand opening tomorrow, April 14th
Any day a new cupcake bakery is opening is a day to celebrate, so that makes tomorrow quite festive, with the opening of Cups 'n Cakes in Collegeville, Pennsylvania from 6-9 pm tomorrow night. They're holding a party and you're invited! See below for RSVP info. Via Phoenixville Dish, who write:
Cups 'n Cakes 50 West 3rd Avenue, Suite 205 Collegeville, PA 267-761-1714 cupsncakes at ymail.com
Here are some photos of their cupcakes from their Facebook page. What fun! FYI, I don't know exactly what flavors they'll have on hand at the grand opening, these are just some cupcakes that caught my eye.

I couldn't not start with the most outrageous, their buffalo wing cupcake! "our buffalo bruce: a hot sauce, sour cream, bleu cheese cup with a bleu cheese buttercream topped with a appalachian brewing company hot wing!"

handbag and high heel cupcakes for the fashion minded

Peeps!

s'mores

fresh blueberry vanilla cup with wild blueberries and juice to top off our buttercream

Mardi Gras cupcakes

coconut fudge cake with buttercream topped with a caramel delite and some caramel of course

The timing presents you with the perfect opportunity to grab an early dinner and beer upstairs at ABC, then head down to the yummy Grand Opening to snag dessert, chat with the bakers about their unique operation and enjoy the welcoming space they have to offer.
You couldn’t ask for anything more than a place to enjoy ridiculously delicious sweets, but the enthusiastic baking duo is also whipping up entertainment for this party. On top of family, fun, food and frosting, there will be live music from The York Street Hustle! Word on the street is already spreading that it’s going to be a really sweet party so make sure you RSVP by calling 267-761-1714.

The Winner of Our Duncan Hines Giveaway Reports!
Enola, Pennsylvania-area reader, baker and cupcake enthusiast -- and winner of our Duncan Hines Frosting Creations giveaway, Katie Eisenhour reports back with snapshots of her prize.
"I got my package! I attached some pictures for you of everything that was included in case if you wanted to put it up on your site. I also wanted to share the GREAT news that as I was shopping yesterday, I finally saw that my Walmart has the starters and packets for sale along with a coupon to get a packet for free when you buy the starter. They also had little inspiration booklets available too! I'll definitely be taking advantage of all the coupons I printed for those a few weeks back. I'm so excited to get experimenting in the kitchen with all the flavors. I'm sure my church will love all of the creations I can come up with! I'll probably be posting online on pinterest what I come up with!"
Flavor packets!
Frosting starters.
Thanks, Katie, glad you are enjoying the spoils!
