Yes, you can make a cupcake wrapper out of duct tape!
They also, conveniently, hold pretzels or popcorn or whatever else you want! Carrie Sellman of Half Baked - The Cake Blog shows you over at Hostess With the Mostess how to make these fun wrappers for Father's Day or when you don't have any paper wrappers in the house. And click here for printable "King of Duct Tape" designs to put on your wrappers!

Extreme cuteness alert: BBQ grill cake pops, perfect for Father's Day
How fun are these BBQ grill cake pops by 'kCreative' Cake Pops in San Diego? I love how they take the cake pop to a whole new level of fun and how perfect they are for Father's Day. Photos by Sonny Sbranti via this Facebook album. Read more about how they were made on their blog; they were part of a summer grilling party theme by Hostess with the Mostess. Contact 'kCreative' Cake Pops at Kris at goodsbykcreative.com for orders and questions.

Super fun Cinco de Mayo sombrero and sarape marshmallow cupcake toppers
I keep forgetting that before Mother's Day, we have Cinco de Mayo, so will try to make up for that before next Saturday with some Cinco de Mayo posts, like this one featuring these incredibly adorable and easy to make Cinco de Mayo cupcake toppers using marshmallows to add sombreros and sarapes (shawls, can also be spelled serapes) to your cupcakes! Head over to Hostesss with the Mostess to find out how to make them! They involve royal icing, food coloring and 3 types of marshmallows: jumbo, regular and flat rectangle ones (I didn't even know marshmallows came in rectangles!).

Sparking Surprise Carrot Cupcakes
These don't look like cupcakes...these are carrots! But au contraire! These are in fact cupcakes and perfect for Easter Sunday!
Developed by Half Baked but featured on Hostess With The Mostess, these carrot cupcakes are actually ice cream cone cupcakes!
Of course, this is the messiest part of the project but once your here, all you have to do is cover the dipped cones in some sprinkles, add some edible grass and TADA! You're all done!
You can check out the full tutorial here!
